Dear Terry Fox Participant,

Thank you for making the 4th Annual Colorado Terry Fox Run a huge success! Not only did we have more people participate than ever, but we beat our fundraising goal and raised more than $9,500 for cancer research at CU Anschutz and the Flint Animal Cancer Center at CSU. This is a record for our run that started out with a few people from the Canada Colorado Association and Canadian Consulate in Denver with a hope of raising a few thousand dollars for cancer research. Thank you to everyone who donated, fundraised and got the word out! You all made a difference!

I want to give a big shoutout to Jen, Erik and all the staff at the Colorado Tap House for once again hosting our run. Their support, hospitality... and the clock and giant screen with Terry on it -  made the run such a fun and community-spirited event. Thank you so much - we had a blast!

I also want to give a big thank-you to Sean Clark and The Consulate General of Canada in Denver for the pre-run fuel, tent and support, Alex Howell and the team from The Four Seasons Denver for the amazing door prizes, for answering my email at the last minute, pulling a team together and meeting their fundraising goal! The Canada Colorado Association for the sound system, flags and support, and Air Canada for donating 2 tickets to anywhere in Canada that we auctioned off earlier to raise funds. I also want to thank Peter Sheremeta from The Terry Fox Foundation for all the help with the website, t-shirts, posters and being available to answer my emails. I swear he doesn't sleep! ; )

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who survived road closures and detours and showed up at 7am to get things set up - I could not have done this without your help - it truly does take a village and the volunteers are the lifeblood behind the Colorado Terry Fox Run.

Finally, thank you, Terry Fox. Your grit, determination and perseverance inspires me and cancer patients all over the world to fight. We keep going because of you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm beyond grateful and am humbled by everyone who took time to show up.

I look forward to seeing you all next year for the 5th Annual Colorado Terry Fox Run!

If you missed the run and would still like to donate, you can! The link will be active until November.https://usaruns.terryfox.co/59669
